1260 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 5 × 7
945 = 3 × 3 × 3 × 5 × 7
Multiply each factor the greater number of times it occurs in steps i) or ii) above to find the lcm:
LCM = 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 3 × 5 × 7 LCM = 3780

Composite numbers are those which has more than 2 factors.


Every composite number can be expressed as a product of its prime.

1260 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 5 × 7
945 = 3 × 3 × 3 × 5 × 7
