Solutions :-

Some of the abbreviations used in the solutions are :-

Principle = p
Time = t
Rate = r
Simple Interest = S.I
Amount = A

Given :

p = Rs 10000
r = 7.5 %
t = 3 years

Find the Simple Interest :-

S.I = (p × r × t)/100
= Rs (10000 × 7.5 × 3)/100
= Rs 225000/100
= Rs 2250

Find the Amount :-

A = p + S.I
= Rs (10000 + 2250)
= Rs 12250

Hence,
Amount = Rs 12250
Simple Interest = Rs 2250
