Step-by-step explanation:

S.I =

 \frac{ptr}{100}

Here p = 25000

t = 3

r = 2.55

S.I =

 \frac{25000 \times 3 \times 2.55}{100}  = 1912.5

amount \:  = p(1 +  \frac{tr}{100} )

 = 25000(1 +  \frac{3 \times 2.55}{100} )

 = 25000(1.0765) \:  \:  \:  = 26912.5

Hence simple interest is 1912.5 and amount is 26912.5

You can even get amount by adding principal and interest i.e. 25000 + 1912.5 .
