Answer :-

Given -

  • Principal = Rs. 1800
  • Rate = 10% p.a.
  • Simple interest = Rs. 420

To Find -

  • Time, T

Solution :-

We know that,

\boxed{\sf SI = \frac{PRT}{100}}

Substituting the value in formula -

\implies\sf SI = \frac{PRT}{100}

\implies\sf 420 = \frac{18\cancel{00} \times 10 \times T}{1\cancel{00}}

\implies\sf 420 = 180T

\implies\sf T = \frac{42 \cancel0}{18 \cancel0}

\implies\sf T = \frac{7}{3}

\implies\boxed{\sf T = 2 \frac{1}{3}\: years}
