Hello Dear,

◆ Answer -

Principal value of cos-¹(x) is 0 ≤ y ≤ π .

◆ Cosine inverse -

  • It is used to obtain measure of an angle using its cosine function.
  • It can be written as arccos(x) or cos-¹(x).
  • Measure of angle y with cos(y) = x is given by y = cos-¹(x)
  • Range of principle value of arccos(x) is 0 ≤ y ≤ π i.e. 0° ≤ y ≤ 180° .

Hope I was useful.
