As we know that,

S.I.=100P×R×t

Given:-

S.I.=Rs.192

R=6%

t=4 years

P=?

Therefore,

192=100P×6×4

⇒P=2419200=Rs.800

To find:- principle .

Given data:    Rate = 16\ \%    , time = 2 years   , S.I =  Rs.1000

Solution :

  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the principle .
  • We know that , the simple Interest of an amount is calculated by multiplying the interest rate by the principal amount and the time period. the time period in years.
  • SI Formula will be :  S.I =  \frac{P\times R\times T}{100}
  • So, putting the value in formula. we get,
  • S.I =  \frac{P\times R\times T}{100}

      1000 = \frac{P\times 16\times 2}{100}  \\\\1000 = \frac{P\times 8}{25}  \\\\P = \frac{1000 \times 25}{8}  \\\\P= 3125

Hence, the principle is 3125 .
