Take a copper wire of rectangular loop with resistive coating.Place it between the two poles of a magnet(such as a horseshoe magnet) such that the direction of the magnetic field is perpendicular to the branches of rectangular loop. Connect the two ends of the loop with a split ring which has resistive coating in its inner surface and its outer surface is in contact with the carbon brushes. The split ringa should be connected tightly to an axle. The circuit should be completed by connecting a battery to it.
