Hey there!

ELECTRIC MOTOR:

An Electric motor is a rotating device used for converting Electric energy into Mechanical energy...

An Electric motor is based on the Principle O_o that when a rectangular coil is placed in a Magnetic field and Current is passed through it,

Two equal and opposite forces act on the Coil which rotates it continuously.

Uses of Motors (including AC n' DC both):

1. Electric fans for cooling

2. Used in Water pumps

3. Important components of Appliances like:

• Washing machine
• Mixers
• Refrigerator
• Computers
• Record players
• and even many more devices (especially =_= that Rotates)

Hope it helps :)

Cheers!

Let us know What do we mean by Electric Motor?
- - - - - - - -

Basically, An electric motor is a rotating device that converts electric energy into mechanical energy.

Some devices based in which electric motors are used are as follows :---

1. Refrigerator.

2. T. V

3. A.C

4. Geysers.

5. Computers.

6. Fans.

7. Washing Machines.

8. Electric Kettle.

9. Room Heater.

10. Electric Toaster.

Principle of an Electric Motor :--

The operation of the AC motor is based on the principle that When a current carrying conductor is placed in a magnetic field, the conductor experiences a force, as a result of the force the coil begins to rotate which tends the conductor to rotate.

Hope it helps
