The principle of majoritarianism is not in favor of human values as it is used to impose the values of majority on people in the society. It is against the principle that in a society every individual is free and equal.
Irrespective of that, it needs minority who might have a value system which is different from the majority in order to accept the views and opinions of the majority.

It is against human values as the people because minority are exploited by the majority and are not given basic rights. Every human should has basic rights take a case for example - sri lanka we have seen the discrimination in job and education by sinhalas in tamils. That is why the act of majoritism is against the human values.
