a bicarbonate assay it just a determination of how much bicarbonate is in the solution, which is commonly done by a titration.. Assay Weigh accurately about 0.6 g ofSodium Carbonate, previously dried, dissolve in 50 ml of water, and titrate with 0.5 mol/l hydrochloric acid (indicator: 3 drops of bromophenol blue TS).
