Print helped a lot of people in spreading ideas.

People were  also exposed to church propaganda and they also used to read books.

This did not also influenced the people directly of what they are actually reading and viewing.

Things were used to be interpreted by them in their own way and also influenced their way of thinking.

Yes! i agree with this statement, because print did not directly shape the minds, but it did open up the possibility of thinking differently, because now each and everyone could read and some of them liked the scripts, but some were against it. So this made the writers and the literature people scare, they were scared because of their respect and their dignity would have been destroyed.
