• When white light ia incident on the prism, it splits it into its constituent colours according to their angle or deviation in the prism or their speed in the prism.
• Since violet colour has the minimum speed and maximum angle of deviation thus it is the most deviated colour while red is the least deviated colour.
• Green colour is reflected by the leaves because it is unused by the chlorophylls present in the leaves as only the red end is utilized by them, thus green colour gets reflected by them.
