Answer: The Selling price (SP) = 36rs

Step-by-step explanation:

If Pritam bought  the peanuts for 30 per 1 rupee, and if he sells that for the same price, than he gains 0

thus,

30 peanuts ÷ 1 rs = 100%

And to make 20% profit, the selling price should be 120%

Lets say the SP = x / 1 rs

⇒ (x - 30) = 20 % of 30

⇒ x - 30 = 20/100 × 30

⇒ x - 30 = 6

∵ x (Selling price) = 36rs
