The overall profit percent of Priti is 3.33%.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Priti sells 1/3-rd  of the toys at a profit of 10%

1/3-rd of the left toys at a loss of 10%

The rest at a profit of 5%.

To Find: The overall loss or  profit percent of Priti.

Formula Used:

Selling Price= Cost Price x(100+Profit%)/100

Selling Price= Cost Price x(100-Loss%)/100

%Profit  =( Profit /Cost Price) x 100

Solution:

Let the Cost Price of toys which Priti purchases= Rs.900

The sale price of 1/3 rd toys = Rs. (300 x 1.10)= Rs. 330.

The sale price of 1/3rd of remaining toys( Rs.600) = Rs.(200 x 0.90)= Rs.180

The sale price of the last 1/3 rd toys= (400x 1.05)= Rs.420.

Sale price of all the  toys = Rs.(330+180+420)=Rs. 930

profit=Sale Price- Cost Price= 930- 900=30

% profit= 30/900x 100= 3.33% .

Thus, The overall profit percent of Priti is 3.33%.
