The second battle was fought between Ghurid army of Mohammed Ghori and Rajput army of Prithviraj Chauhan in 1192 AD . After his defeat in first battle, Mohammed Ghori avenge his loss . Many of Prithviraj Chauhan's allies were indifferent to fight for his enemy, Mohammed Ghori and also supported king Jaichand of Kannauj , which reduced Rajput army and led them to their defeat .
