we know actually linear velocity is
V = distance / time .....

So such that in the circular motion ....we know the there is angular displacement that is theta and the time taken is denoted by the T as the time period ..

thus we get the omega (w) = total angular displacement that is 2pi/ time period...

there fore w = 2pi/ T.....
