a) The bulb glows in Sahana's solution. This is because Sodium hydroxide , on passing electricity splits up into ions, this conducting electricity.
b) The bulb does not glow in Priya's solution. This is because Glucose being a covalent compound does not split into ions for electrical conductivity.
