Priya has 7 chocolates more than three times the number of chocolates with tanvi. if Priya has 13 chocolates, write am equation to denote the number of chocolates with tanvi.

Let Raahil have 'x' number of chocolates

Chocolates given to his brother =

Chocolates given to his friend =

Chocolates left =30

Then

x−

3

=30

6

6x−2x−x

=30

⇒3x=30×6

[x=60]

∴ Raahil have 60 chocolates earlier.
