Priya has 76 coin. All of 50 p and 25 p . Find the numberof each if the total money she has is Rs.29.

Let’s assume

We have X number of 50 paise coins and;

Y number of 25 paise coins.

So,

X + Y = 76 — Eq 1

0.5X + 0.25Y = 29 —Eq 2

Solving both the above equations, we get

X = 40 & Y = 36
