Let the Number of 2 - Rupee coins in Priya Purse be : T

Let the Number of 5 - Rupee coins in Priya Purse be : F

Given that the Total Number of Coins in her Purse as : 80

⇒ T + F = 80

⇒ T = 80 - F

Given that these 80 Coins amount as : 232 rupees.

⇒ (2 × T) + (5 × F) = 232

But, we know that T = 80 - F

⇒ 2(80 - F) + 5F = 232

⇒ 160 - 2F + 5F = 232

⇒ 3F = 232 - 160

⇒ F = 72/3 = 24

⇒ The Number of 5 - Rupee coins = 24
