Explanation:

The fish were dying because the industrial waste were making the pond’s water acidic. Water pollution is a pressing concern of today’s time which wreaks havoc on the food of the fish and kills them eventually. The natural habitat of the fish is becoming jeopardized everyday and they are lacking the natural oxygen to survive. Water pollutants are making the fish suffocated and die eventually.
