Start with a book called “Pre College Mathematics”. This book is sufficient for Pre-RMO and RMO. Don't go looking after a lot of books as questions are not asked from books, rather focus on concept. So, have patience (This is very very important in maths olympiads) and solve the book completely. Trust me, the book is not easy and will take a lot of time to complete thoroughly.
For functional equations, solve a book “Functional equations” by Prof. BJV. He’s a senior staff member at IMOTC.
When you register for RMO, you get a book “An excursion in mathematics”. Solve this too if you need extra practice, it’s a good book.
After this, you won't get much time to solve books.
Don't forget to do previous year question papers. They are very very good for all stages.
