Total outcome=2.
So,
Probability of giving birth to a boy or a girl = 1/2.

This is like a 50% for instance when 2 people are having sex (not trying to be innapropeite) the sperm has fertilizer in it and depending on whether it has X or Y cells in it depends whether it turns out to be Male or Female also this is how people can be born with Dissabilities XX is male Im pretty sure and XY is female sometimes the baby will get one extra cell for example XXY or XYX or XYY can end up creating one who is disabled and then there's the whole thing depending on wheter the mom or dad is an alcoholic but pretty much I hope this answers your question
