  \purple{\huge  \mathtt{ \underline{ \fbox{ \:  \pink{Solution} \red : \:  \: }}}}

Possible Outcomes are : 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6

∴ Total number of posible outcomes = 6

&

∴ Favourable outcomes = 1

We know that ,

 \mathtt{\large \fbox{Probability =  \frac{Number \:  of  \: favourable \:  outcomes }{Total  \: number  \: of  \: outcomes } }}

Substitute the known values , we get

 \sf \hookrightarrow Required  \: probability  =  \frac{1}{6}

Hence , the required probability of getting 1 , when a dice is thrown once is 1/6
