It must be noted that there are 52 weeks + 2 days in a leap year. 52 weeks clearly indicate that (52 mondays,52 Tuesdays,52 wednesday…52 sundays ) are already present . Two possibilities of getting a friday (either Thu,Fri or Fri,Sat ) can be seen above. Hence Probability of having 53 fridays = 2/7.
