Probability of getting containing blue ball is 2/ 3, from a bag containing 6 blue balls and 3 red balls, 12 red balls are added in the bag & then find the probability of getting
(a) a blue ball
(b) a red ball​

no. of red balls = 3

after adding , total no. of balls = 9

Next , it is said that ,

then....

Total no. of red balls = 3+12 =15

and total no of balls in the bag =9+12=21

no. of blue balls / total no. of balls in the bag = 6/21 = 2/7

probability of getting a red ball =

no. of red balls / total no. of balls in the bag = 15/21 = 5/7
