no of kings in deck of 52 cards =4
no of queens in deck of 52 cards =4
probablity that card drawn is king =p(king)=4/52
probablity that card drawn is queen =p(queen)=4/52
probablity that a card drawn is either king or queen= p(king) + p(queen)=4/52 + 4/52= 8/52
so, probablity that a card drawn is neither king or queen = 1 - {p(king) + p(queen)}
= 1 - 8/52
= 44/52
= 22/27
i hope it helps...
