Given: February month a leap year.

To find: The probability of having 5 sundays and 5 mondays in february month a leap year.

Solution: The probability of having 5 Sundays and 5 Mondays in February month a leap year is 1/49.

In a leap year, there are 29 days in February. Each week has a Sunday and a Monday. Also, every week has 7 days. Now, a month must have 4 complete weeks. Hence,

7*4=28 days

Thus, 4 Mondays and 4 Sundays are fixed. Now, the number of days left is

29 - 28 = 1

This day could be any of the 7 of the days. If the day is Sunday then the probability of having 5 Sundays would be

P(S) = \frac{1}{7}

Similarly, if the day is Monday then the probability of having 5 Mondays would be

P(M) = \frac{1}{7}

Thus, the probability of having both 5 Sundays and 5 Mondays is

P(E) = \frac{1}{7} *\frac{1}{7}

         = \frac{1}{49}

Therefore, the probability of having 5 Sundays and 5 Mondays in February month a leap year is 1/49.
