From this information, Mr. ABC claimed that one rupee is better than xyz and hence the beliefs of Mr. PQR are not logically acceptable as there is contradiction.

Solution:

Mr. PQR claims/believes the following two statements:

1. that nothing is better than xyz.

2. that one rupee is better than nothing.

nothing is better than xyz.  =>    xyz is best     ( there is no thing which is better than xyz )

one rupee is better than nothing. => ( having one rupee is better than having no thing at all )  

As xyz is best  hence Mr. ABC claim that one rupee is better than xyz is not correct

if nothing  has been object here like say  EFG  

1. that EFG is better than xyz.

2. that one rupee is better than EFG.

then   one ruppee  is better than EFG which in turn is better than xyz

Hence one rupee is better than xyz
