Molarity = moles of solute / Volume of solution in L

Mass of NaOH = 4g

Molecular mass of NaOH = 40g

Moles = 4/40 = 0.1mole

Volume of solution = 250ml = 250 ×10^(-3) L

=0.250 L

Molarity = 0.1/ 0.250 = 0.4 M
