Problem 3: A particle of mass 2 kg experiences a constant force of 10 N. What is the acceleration of the particle? If the particle starts from rest what is its velocity after 5 s?​

Given :-

m = 2 kg

F = 10 n

Initial Velocity u = 0 and time t = 5 s .

For second Law :

F = m a

or =  \frac{f}{m}

= \frac{10}{2} =5 m s -²

Again from first equation of motion v =u + a t

Velocity of particles after 5 s = 0 + 5 × 5 = 25 m s - ¹
