Answer:

The answer to the given question is the cost of one square foot is 1200$

The cost of the entire home is 2,31,000.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

(I)A 450-square-foot apartment in New York City costs $540,000.

(ii)A 2,100-square-foot home in Cheyenne, Wyoming, costs $110 per square foot.

To find :

For (I) we have to find the cost of one square foot.

for (ii) we have to find the cost of the home.

Solution :

In (I) it is given that a 450 sq feet apartment costs $450,000.Then the price of one square foot is obtained by dividing the cost of 450 sq ft by 450. \frac{540000}{450} = 1200

in (ii) The 2100 sq feet home, where the cost of one square foot is $ 110.

Therefore the cost of the whole home is obtained by multiplying the cost of one square foot by the total number of square feet.

2100 \times 110 = 231000Therefore, the cost of the home is 2,31,000.
