The island has only three fruits - pineapple, orange and kiwi John meets 3 people A, B and C and asks them what their favorite fruit is.

B "C likes orange A likes kiwi"
C "I like pineapple A likes kiwi"
If A, B and C belong to different tribes and each like a different fruit then who belongs to the tribe of truth-tellers?

here A,B,C are the three people from three different tribes and like three different fruits

so B is the person from truth teller tribute who like kiwi
