Problem faced by weavers of India are:



1.. British has assert the monopoly right to trade


2.. company tried to eliminate competition ,control cost and ensure regular supplies


3 .. they started providing loans to the weavers and kept the condition that if they are taking loan from the company then they can not trade with any other trader


4.. gomasthas were kept as a paid servant to supervise the work done by weavers and to check weather that they are dealing with other trader or not .


5.. gomasthas use to march with sepoys and they often get very aggressive to weavers . If the work doesn't finish in time then they punish the weavers in several way ..


6 .. weaving need involvement of whole family members since they can to farming and have to sell their lands


7 ... the loans were high and the weavers often get any profit ...
