Deforestation, clearance, clearcutting or clearing is the removal of a forest  or stand of trees from land which is then converted to a non-forest use.

PROBLEMS AFTER DEFORESTATION :

1. Deforestation in tropical regions can affect the way water vapor is produced over the canopy, which causes reduced rainfall.

2. One of the most dangerous and unsettling effects of deforestation is the loss of animal and plant species due to their loss of habitat.

3. Greenhouse gases such as methane and carbon dioxide are gases that trap heat in Earth's atmosphere, leading to global climate change.

4.  It leads to the imbalance in the atmospheric temperature, drier climate, further making conditions for the ecology difficult that leads to climate change.

5. Without trees, erosion often occurs and sweeps the land into nearby rivers and streams.

6. Animals lose their habitat , many of them are even pushed to extinction.

7. The increased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere due to deforestation and burning fossil fuels make our oceans more acidic.

8. Deforestation disrupts the lives of millions of people.

9. Deforestation leads to a huge loss of biodiversity.
