Problems faced by Helen in Gillan school.

~The second year for Helen was just opp. to what she thought. She cannot enjoy her school.

~Mr.gilman wanted Helen to study maths in which she was not interested.

~The classes were large and none of the Cambridge teachers would give her special instructions.

~She had physics, geometry, astronomy, algebra,Greek and Latin.

Mr.Gilman wanted Helen to study for more than 1 year i.e for 3 more years.

~Helens results of the first year showed that she could sustain for 1 year. this controversy lead to a difference in opinion b/w Helen's mother and Anne and mr.gilman. she studied under a private tutor , Merton.S.Keith.

~ It was more easy for her to study under a guidance without being indulged in a large classroom.

~However inspite of all these problems she was able to overcome these obstacles

at the gillman school the Helen faced problems because the teacher were not as fluent as Ms. Sullivan and the book in braille system were also not available for her

she was not able to perform geometry as she couldn't see the figures

she had to spend more time in studies as compared to her other peers
