The place from where a river originates is full of the bounties of nature, but during the course of its flow, the river faces various threats. In the meandering path its bsnks are corroded. People misuse its water for washing clothes or drain domestic wastes in the river which causes pollution. Industries let out toxic wastes into it which renders its water inpotable. The most disturbing fact is that states and countries fight on the issue of its water as if they are territorial. God sent them for everyone and human greed and excessive need have made these life-sustaining rivers dirty.
