Adolescence is a very crucial stage in the life of a person. This period brings with it a lot of wishes and fantasies for an individual. The needs of an adolescent is classified into two categories:
1. Primary Needs : Primary needs include the basic necessities of life like food, water, oxygen etc.
2. Psychological Needs: The Socio-psychological needs deal with the individuality of person. This includes need for security, need for recognition, need for love etc.
