Decolonization of Malaya Peninsula was actually not much of a problem. The colonies here were set up by the British when they established their rule here. The British introduced many new concepts that created unrest among Malaya nationalists to protect their motherland and to retain their cultural, religious, social integrity. This paved way for many rebellions, acts of defiance, and protests that made the British give into offering constitutional concessions and slowly making them quit the Malaya Peninsula.
