1.Take a small amount of quicklime in a beaker.

2.Pour water over the quicklime in the beaker slowly

3.Touch the surface of the beaker.

Precautions:-)

1.The reaction is highly exothermic, hence do not touch reaction mixture directly.

2.Use good quality glasswares.

3.Always take small amount of quicklime.

4.Never add quicklime in water.
