Process of gametogenesis in human reproduction

The process of formation of gametes i.e. sprems or male gametes in male and eggs or female gametes in female is called as gametogenesis in humans. Gametogenesis in human males takes place in the testes while it takes place in ovaries in case of human females.. it is the first and most important step in human reproduction. If gametes are not formed then reproduction will not occur in humans.
