● ln organisms like hydra , asexual reproduction takes place by the process of budding.
● A bulging on the body appears as a result of repeated mitotic division of the cells.This laterate bulge is called bud.
● The bud slowly grows , enlarges and developes into a new organism on the body of the parent.
● Finally it seperates from the parent body and grows into a new organism.
