the process to produce a child is through fertilisation of the female and male gametes.

fertilisation occurs in humans when the sperm (male gamete) from the man goes into the oviduct (fallopian tube ) of the female and fertilises the egg (female gamete) and forms a zygote  . when the sperms enter the oviduct millions enter but only one sperm fertilises the egg and the tail of the sperm helps in the movement of the sperm and when it enters the egg only the head of the sperm goes in and the tail disappears and the head secretes a chemical that stops the other sperms from entering the fallopian  tube  .
this is all about fertilisation .

hope i helped u
