Hello madam!
When metallic nitride is reacted with hot water, ammonia gas is formed...
AlN + 3H2O -------> Al(OH)3 + NH3
When ammonia solution or NH4OH is bubbled through copper sulphate solution, first we get a pale blue precipitate (of copper hydroxide) which dissolves on adding excess NH4OH, forming an azure blue solution of tetraamene copper sulphate.
CuSO4 + 2NH4OH ------> Cu(OH)2 + (NH4)2SO4
Cu(OH)2 + (NH4)2SO4 + NH4OH -------> Cu[(NH3)4]SO4 + H2O
