Answer:

2,3 or -2,-3

Step-by-step explanation:

Find factors of 6;

1,2,3,6,  Which of them are consecutive?

Only 2 and 3 are so these must be the answers.

2*3=6, this is the product of two consecutive integers because they come one after another

-2*-3 would also work as they are also consecutive integers

Given :

★ Sum of two consecutive Integers is 6.

To find :

★ Consecutive Integers

SoluTion:

Let the two consecutive Integers be x and x + 1.

According to the question, their product is 6.

So, translation would be :

→ x ( x + 1) = 6

→ x² + x = 6

→ x² + x - 6 = 0

→ x² + 3x - 2x - 6 = 0

→ x ( x + 3 ) - 2 ( x + 3 ) = 0

→ ( x - 2 ) ( x + 3 ) = 0

→ x = 2 and -3.

Hence, consecutive integers are : -3 and 2
