Case 1.

→ x * y = 36.

→ x * y = 36.

→ y = 36 / x _____ ( 3 )

Now, Putting the value of x = 36 / y in Equation ( 2 )

→ x + y = 37.

→ x + 36/ x = 37.

→ x² + 36 = 37x.

→ x² - 37x + 36 = 0.

Compare With General Equation.

ax² + bx + c = 0.

Where as,

• a = 1.
• b = - 37.
• c = 36.

→ x² - 36x - x + 36 = 0.
