Solution

Given :-

  • Product of two rational numbers is 15 if one of them is -2/3

To Find :-

  • Other Number

Step-by-Step-Explaination :-

Let the other number be x

According to the question

As we know that :-

One number × Other number = Product of two number

Putting the respectively value

=> \frac{-2}{3}\times x = 15

=> \frac{-2}{3}  = 15

=> - 2x = 15 \times 3

=> - 2x = 45

=> x = \frac{-45}{2}

Hence,

\frac{-45}{2} is the other number.
