Profit earned by selling a shirt is rs 75 and loss incured by selling a pant is rs 25.The shop has sold 5 shirts and 25 pants .How many more shirts they have to sell to make up the loss.

after selling 25 pants loss is equal to 625

profit earned by selling five shirts is equal to 375

loss minus profit is equal to 250

to cover the loss we need to sell shirts for 250 rupees

250 / 75 is equal to 8. 3333

it means shop needs to sell 8 shirts more to cover the loss
