The folk songs and dance in Sikkim are as follows:

  1. Maruni: It is one of the oldest and popular group dances in the Nepalese community. this is usually performed by 3 male dancers and 3 female dancers. on the sound of an instrument known as " Nau-mati Baja".
  2. Tamang Selo: This is another group dance of the Tamang community, performed on a rhythmic sound 'Dhampu"
  3. Bhutika: this dance shows the beauty and grace of the customs.
