PROJECT HEADING: To study the food culture of different regions of India.
The meals in different regions of India are different. Even within a state, there is a considerable amount of variation in meal patterns. It will be interesting to study the meal patterns of people from different states residing in your neighborhood. For this, collect the information as suggested below. after collecting the data, analyze the meals for their food components ( ie. carbohydrates, fats, protein, vitamins and minerals, roughage) and whether
(i) these meals are balanced or not and (ii) these will lead to deficiency diseases or not.
INFORMATION TO BE COLLECTED:
1. State (One state each from East, West, North and South India):
2. List the meals, with their names and time: (like breakfast, lunch, evening tea, dinner)
3. Comment on the meals consumed ( whether balanced or not, will cause deficiency diseases, or not)
